Romuald Piekarski

Romuald Piekarski – professor emeritus of the University of Gdańsk. Chairman of the Board of the Gdańsk Branch of the Polish Philosophical Society, deals with the philosophy of civilization and political philosophy. Author of over a hundred publications, including books such as:Machiavelli's concept of political virtues against the background of elements of classical virtue ethics (Gdańsk: Ed. UG 2007), Machiavellianism, the pathology of the spirit, the sacred and politics. Essays in Political Philosophy(Sopot: Spółdzielczy Instytut Naukowy 2016).
